Advent of Code
This year, I got to know a coding advent calendar called Advent of Code. It consists of 25 days coding problems which develop around a Christmas theme. Every daily task is introduced by an interesting story and has two parts basically two coding tasks where the second task is an extension of the first one.
I decided to participate into it since the job was not fully loaded during this time. Also, I view it as a self-challenge. I want to see if I could insist on a daily task for 25 days. I didn’t complete the project on 25 December, 2024 due to some trips (I know it is like an excuse) but on 30 December, 2024. My solution is written in python, and the link is https://github.com/fuguigui/AdventOfCode. Generally I came up with the solutions independently except for Day21 and Day24 part2. Credited help sources are indicated in my GitRepo's README.
Surprisingly, during the first 20 days, I completed it at the same day of the publish of the problem. In some days, I even woke up around 6 a.m. trying to get to the leaderboard (but never). 6 a.m. is too early to me. I never do this for my work. I didn’t realize that I have such a hidden action power before. I am very proud of myself 🥂!! Yes! I can do it! It was one of the biggest achievements I have done in 2024 and encourages me to move forwards towards all of my wishes in 2025. Now I know, I have the ability and I can insist!
